Forget about winter and avoid the fatigue with Gwenn!

Ginger is wonderful and full of resources: spicy and warm, it warms up and stimulates the circulation of energy. This weekend, the sea was tumultuous for the equinox, it is the perfect occasion to renew yourself too.

Try throwing 10 slices of fresh ginger in boiling water and letting it infuse on low heat for 20 minutes and add a pinch of salt. Salt stimulates the kidneys’ energy during the winter. Once the temperature has gone back to warm, bathe your feet in it for 10 to 15 minutes. This naturally relaxing ritual is very efficient to calm and relax the body and spirit, but mostly to warm up frozen feet…

To complete the ritual, make this spicy and deliciously invigorating drink: bring ½ litre of water to a boil, throw in 7 black pepper corns, 2 cloves, 3 cardamom pods, a pinch of nutmeg and a piece of fresh ginger. Let infuse for 20 minutes then strain. Mix in some honey and, for strengthened efficiency, you can chew and swallow all the spices!

You will be full of energy to face this new season!
